Overcoming Exercise Autopilot

Humans are creatures of habit. People often move through their lives on autopilot, plodding through the same activities day in and day out. Once in a comfort zone, it can be difficult to change. Typically, this behavior transfers to exercise programs. People tend to get comfortable on one type of machine or in a specific class and repeatedly perform the same routine, on the same days, at the same level of intensity, for the same amount of time, over and over again. Wellness Bound

With the number of inactive children today, our nation’s health depends on getting young people excited about fitness. The Peggy & Philip B. Crosby Wellness Center created the Wellness Bound program to do just that. Fitness for Her & Day Spa wanted to be sure that didn’t happen when individuals purchased a membership at their facility. With their New Member Motivator program, they made sure potential members knew what they were getting by offering a 30-day trial membership. Many people are unhappy with their capabilities in searching the Internet.

They venture on-line, enter a few words in one of the popular search engines and get back an extensive list of results. As they browse through these items, they realize that most of them are irrelevant, outdated or indeed, barely less than junk. Frustrated, they conclude the Internet isn’t a useful research tool.
