Horoscope with a Twist

Monday will be a relatively calm, settled day, compared to yesterday’s tumultuous Mars/Jupiter opposition, plus the shift from Sun in airy Aquarius to Sun in watery Pisces. However, this day may wind up being “calm before the storm,” since the Mars/Jupiter opposition actually will reverberate until the New Moon on Friday.

Please note that all times given are EST.
The Moon is in Capricorn all day. Its only aspect will be a beneficial trine aspect to Saturn in Taurus, exact at 6:03 p.m. This is a double-Saturn influence, because the earth sign Capricorn is ruled by the planet Saturn. The trine aspect tends to encourage going with the flow instead of rocking the boat, being rather than doing.

But there is an unusual flavor to this particular trine, because Capricorn feels more comfortable doing rather than being. Earth signs Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn will especially feel in sync with this unusual trine, as long as these signs do not expect too much in the way of productivity.

This lunar aspect will also be helpful in providing a backbone, a foundation, for the sometimes lost-at-sea Water signs Scorpio and Pisces, although Cancer may feel a touch lonely or overworked by the time this lunar aspect is over.

Fire and Air element people are less likely to feel comfortable under this aspect, but regardless of sign, those involved in architecture, construction, jewellery design, cooking, banking, sculpting or anything material should find the Moon trine Saturn quite helpful.

Note that because this is the only lunar aspect all day, it will make itself felt earlier than it otherwise would. After the aspect is over, the Moon goes Void of Course…meaning that after 6:03 p.m., it would be a very wise idea to put all work and worries away, have a hot, nourishing meal, postpone important decisions, and go to sleep early in order to be prepared for tomorrow’s challenges.
